1) Sonic Explorers' fourth CD, "Lore of The Land" has been released !!
I am in the process of setting up online distribution with CD Baby for shipments of CDs to your home as well as with many digital distribution companies (eg. iTunes, etc.) for downloads. Starting today I can ship any quantity anywhere so send an email (jerrys@sonicexplorers.com) if you're interested.
Don't forget to check my gigs page for CD release dates where CDs will also be available.
... or catch me on the streets. My truck is a rolling sonic supply depot.

2) 2007 Music Composition Award Finalist
I have recently been recognized as a finalist in the Massachusetts Cultural Commission 2007 Music Composition Awards. Three original compositions all appearing on our new CD, Lore of The Land were submitted for judging.
... and they were Exodus, Diablo and La Sebastiana.
3) New England Conservatory
I have been accepted and will be attending New England Conservatory of Music in the fall of 2007 !!
I will be working towards my Masters in Music from the Contemporary Improvisation department. This should be quite a challenge for me at the ripe old age of 47. My studies will include lots of groovy world music including Klezmer, Eastern European, Turkish and Indian music. Aum Shalom.
4) A new Brother in the band
Saxophonist Chris Veilleux has joined the band. As a result, I have been composing and arranging new pieces as well as re-arranging old Sonic chestnuts for this new sextet (trpt, sax, tbn, gtr, bs drm).
